Ganner Rhysode is a talented young Jedi trained at the Jedi Academy on Yavin IV. He was known for his incredible good looks and arrogance until a blow from a Yuuzhan Vong amphistaff took both from him. Jacen Solo saved Ganner by engaging and killing the Yuuzhan Vong warrior. Ganner was left with an ugly scar on the left side of his face and the harsh realization that he was not as invincible as he had believed. Rather than have the scar removed with bacta therapy, he chose to keep it as a reminder that the old Ganner was dead. Ganner continued to grow in wisdom and maturity throughout the war. In the final days of the war, he became one with the Force while holding off hundreds of Yuuzhan Vong Warriors himself at the entrance to the Well of the World Brain while Jacen Solo sabotaged the World Brain and escaped back to the New Republic. Rhysode's last stand led him to become a legend among the Yuuzhan Vong warrior caste as well as the Shamed Ones and their Jeedai heresy, in which he became an epic, invincible figure known as "The Ganner".
Parts: Head (Mick from Xyber9), Torso (Naboo Qui-Gon Jinn), Arms (Naboo Qui-Gon Jinn), Legs (Naboo Qui-Gon Jinn), Cloak (Naboo Qui-Gon Jinn), Lightsaber (any).
Supplies: X-acto knife, brushes, Testors paints and Testors Dull-Cote.
Reference: A description of Ganner was given in the New Jedi Order novel Darktide I: Onslaught. He has jet black hair, a mustache and a goatee. He wears midnight blue and black Jedi robes. His lightsaber has a sulfurous yellow blade. The rest is left to imagination.
Step One: I removed the Qui-Gon head and replace it with the Mick head.
Step Two: Using the X-acto knife, I carefully cut away the side bits of tunic from below the belt.
Step Three: Next, I painted the figure, as desired.
Step Four: Finally, I applied a coat of Testor's Dull-Cote to protect the paint and remove the shine.
