Yun (Human Dark Jedi)

Yun was the youngest of a group of Dark Jedi, led by Jerec, who attempted to gain control of the Lost Valley of the Jedi. Yun was the apprentice of the Dark Jedi Sariss. He was defeated and spared by Kyle Katarn in his first meeting with a Light-side Jedi. Yun returned the favor when he prevented Sariss from killing the unconscious Katarn. Yun blocked Sariss' blow with his lightsaber, and acting instinctively, Sariss turned the lightsaber on him. Shocked at what she had done, Sariss asked Yun why he had interfered. Yun replied, "He is a Jedi. He deserves a battle." Yun died as a Jedi of the Light Side.

Parts: Head (Arvel Crynyd), Torso (Tatooine Skiff Luke Skywalker), Arms (Tatooine Skiff Luke Skywalker), Legs (Tatooine Skiff Luke Skywalker), Lightsaber (Tatooine Skiff Luke Skywalker).

Supplies: File or emery board, Testor's Dull-Cote, Paints and Brushes.

Step One: I decided to use the entire body from the Tatooine Skiff Luke Skywalker figure, because of the similarity to the clothing worn by the two character. Because of this, the figure required very little except a new head and a paint-job. I removed Arvel Crynyd's head and put it on Luke's body using the boiling water method. I then allowed the figure to cool completely.

Step Two: Next, I painted the figure according to the reference pictures.

Step Three: Finally, I applied a coat of Testors Dull-Cote to protect the paint and reduce the shine.
