Now that our ren faire season is over, we've shifted gears to begin working on garb and props for next year, as well as some projects we've been putting off for a while.
To begin with, we're going to tidy up the workshop area and make an improvement to the workbench.
After cosplaying as Aladon Tresendar a number of times, I felt a need for variety. In order to keep things interesting, I decided to create a set of garb for another D&D character, Tyren Roaringhorn, a nobleman hailing from the city of Waterdeep.

On October 30th, 2025, we attended Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.
This was our third consecutive year attending the party. This time, we were dressed as characters from the movie Up!
On Sunday, October 5th, 2025, we traveled to Lake Geneva for Dragon Days Fall Fantasy Festival.
This is the festival's third year of celebrating the city as the Birthplace of Fantasy.
On Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, I traveled to the Bristol Renaissance Faire for one last romp before the faire closes on Labor Day, ending their 2025 season.
Jenny was unavailable for this adventure, but she once again encouraged me to go and have some fun.

I purchased them through the Fell & Fair website about two years ago for $189. Since then, they've seen a great number of adventures and it was time to give them a little refresh.

On Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, we made our first visit to the Sterling Renaissance Festival in upstate New York. We were joined in our adventuring party by my parents, both of my brothers and their wives.
They are celebrating their 49th year of fun and the theme for this fifth weekend was Highland Fling.

For the past couple of months, my wife has been after me to start posting videos of the creative process. So that's what this is.

On the first Sunday of each faire season, GSM Bristol conducts a Memorial March in remembrance of all those who have passed away over the previous year. Having lost our son Adam just six months ago, we made it a point to be present.
On Sunday, June 29th, 2025, we traveled a couple of hours to Vasa Park in South Elgin, Illinois for the Goddess of Thyme Renaissance Faire.

On Sunday, March 16th, 2025, we drove to Milwaukee for the Faire Folk Spring Revel, hosted by Awkward Nerd Events and Deeplight LARP. We were told that this was the second year for this event and we were excited to check it out.
Over the past decade, most of our activity has been on Facebook and Instagram. We've certainly evolved in terms of our interests and activities. I've been thinking about returning to this format in one manner or another, but nothing is firm at the moment.
