Chall Bekan (Morseerian ISB Agent)

Chall Bekan, a male Morseerian, was the local Imperial Security Bureau agent of the Tatooine system, only one of a few aliens to hold that position. He did not breathe oxygen so he constantly required a mask, which also protected him against Tatooine's hazardous sand. Bekan was present at Chalmun's Cantina in Mos Eisley when Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker came looking for a pilot to get them off the planet.

Parts: Head (Nabrun Leids), Torso (Nabrun Leids), Arms (Nabrun Leids), Legs (Nabrun Leids), Boots (Obi-Wan Kenobi).

Supplies: X-acto knife, super glue, file, emery board, brushes, Testors paints and Testors Dull-Cote.

Step One: In order to make this figure look a little different from the other Morseerian in the cantina, I cut off the boots and replaced them with another pair.

Step Two: I painted the figure according to the reference pictures, but had to use my imagination for some of it, as the pictures were limited in what they showed.

Step Three: I applied a coat of Testors Dull-Cote to protect the paint and remove the shiny appearance.

Step Four: The commlink on his right thigh was originally from an Episode I Accessory Kit, but I can't remember which one it was. The drink glass was cut from a piece of clear plastic tubing (from the inside of a Windex bottle). It was given a little bit of blue paint inside the lower half to appear as though the glass was partially full.
