Talon Karrde (Human Smuggler Chief)

Talon Karrde has been a smuggler, the head of a smuggling organization and most recently, an information broker. He helped Mara Jade to find new direction in the aftermath of the Emperor's death and promoted her to the second highest position in his organization. Karrde has frequently provided information crucial to New Republic military operations.

Parts: Head (Jedi Duel Qui-Gon Jinn), Torso (Han Solo from the Han & Leia 2-pack), Arms (Han Solo from the Han & Leia 2-pack), Legs (Han Solo from the Han & Leia 2-pack), Blaster (Cantina Han Solo).

Supplies: Emery board, file, brushes, Testors paints and Testors Dull-Cote.

Reference: Talon Karrde has appeared in a number of Star Wars comics from Dark Horse. This figure depicts Karrde during his smuggling days.

Step One: I removed the Han Solo head and replaced it with the Qui-Gon head.

Step Two: Then, I sanded down the sides of the beard, leaving just the mustache and goatee.

Step Three: I painted the figure according to my references.

Step Four: Finally, I applied a coat of Testors Dull-Cote to seal the paint and reduce the shine.
