CT12 / 23-0427 (AT-PT Driver - 41st Elite Legion)

CT12 / 23-0427 is the driver of an AT-AP crew assigned to Commander Gree's 41st Elite Legion.

Parts: Head (AT-RT Driver), Torso (AT-RT Driver), Arms (AT-RT Driver), Legs (AT-RT Driver), Blaster Rifle (Clone Trooper).

Supplies: X-acto knife, brushes, Polly Scale paints and Testors Dull-Cote.

Reference: The idea for my camouflaged AT-PT crew was inspired by the camouflaged worn by both Commander Gree and the AT-RT Drivers while engaged in operation on Kashyyyk in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

Step One: The basic figure was not changed (yes, I know re-paints are not that exciting, but this one was necessary to complete the 3-man crew I wanted for my AT-AP).

Step Two: The rest of the figure was a simple matter of devising the camouflage paint scheme for all three of the AT-AP crewmembers. Figuring that the crews of one type of walker would not differ too greatly from another, I stayed with a paint scheme very similar to that of the AT-RT Driver. (Note: the Driver was done first and then the Commander and Gunner were painted in a matching sceme).

Step Three: A light coat of Testors Dull-Cote was applied to protect the paint and remove the shiny appearance of the armor.
