Mara Jade Skywalker (Human Jedi Master)

Mara Jade continued her Jedi training on and off under Luke Skywalker for years. On a mission into the Outer Regions, Luke Skywalker proposed to Mara and she accepted. Over the years, she rose to the rank of Jedi Master while the two worked together to rebuild the Jedi.

Parts: Head (Slave Leia), Torso (Slave Leia), Arms (Slave Leia), Legs (Slave Leia), Shoulder Armor (Prince Xizor), Skirt (Adi Gallia), Lightsaber (Mara Jade).

Supplies: Dremel, X-acto knife, emery board or file, brushes, Testors paints and Testors Dull-Cote.

Step One: Using the Dremel, I sanded down the Slave Leia body, removing all of the slave-girl accessories.

Step Two: I glued the skirt onto the figure, being careful not to get any glue in the leg joints.

Step Three: I glued the shoulder armor onto Mara's arms, again being careful not to get any glue in the joints.

Step Four: I painted the figure according to the reference pictures.

Step Five: Finally, I applied a coat of Testor's Dull-Cote to protect the paint and reduce the shiny appearance.
