Doctor Evazan is an insane medical practioner, fond of "creative surgery". When he applied to the Imperial Academy on Carida, the Imperials had him institutionalized. He easily escaped and bought a forged surgeon's license. Because of his many scarred, disfigured and dead patients, over a dozen systems have posted death-sentence notices for Evazan. Only a well timed intervention by the Aqualish Ponda Baba prevented Jodo Kast from killing him. Evazan escaped with his face scarred by one of Kast's blaster bolts. Baba and Evazan became partners in spice smuggling and spent a lot of time in Mos Eisley.Parts: Head (Doctor Evazan), Torso (Doctor Evazan), Arms (Doctor Evazan), Legs (Jedi Duel Qui-Gon Jinn), Blaster (Doctor Evazan).
Supplies: File or emery board, brushes, Polly Scale paints and Testors Dull-Cote.
Reference: Photo stills from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. This was basically a quick improvement. Although the upper half of the original figure wasn't great, it was at least tolerable. The legs, however, were overposed and needed to be replaced!
Step One: I removed Evazan's legs and replaced them with the Qui-Gon legs.
Step Two: I painted the figure according to my reference pictures.
Step Three: Last, I applied a coat of Testors Dull-Cote to seal the paint and reduce the shine.
